ACPWN presents Get Out and Give Back - Find Your Perfect Volunteer Match
Jane Hess Collins is a charity advocate and the founder of Get Out and Give Back, an organization that matches people with their most innate way to serve. Just as each of us are drawn to specific sports and hobbies, Jane believes that each of us has an intuitive way to serve, based on our values, interests and time. A retired Air Force colonel, life coach and member of the International Coaching Federation, Jane will take you through hands-on exercises to help you identify how you are most hard-wired to give back. Jane is a frequent speaker for philanthropy issues and has been published in Washington Life Magazine, I Am Modern Magazine, and the book The Power of Philanthropy. She has collaborated with WJLA/ABC-7 to create a philanthropy-focused feature to their Sunday morning “Washington Business Report.” Jane is probably most known for her Get Out and Give Back blog, where she promotes volunteering and nonprofits by writing first-person stories about her volunteer projects throughout greater Washington.
